It has been “reported” in the tabloids that our lovely Carol Lynley is down-and-out and seriously ill. Horrified, I checked in with my friend and entertainment reporter Nelson Aspen who is pals (lucky guy) with Ms. Lynley. Nelson laughed as he just had lunch with her and reports that Carol is fine and well, squelching this vicious rumor. She still lives in Malibu and had just returned from London where she, Stella Stevens, and Pamela Sue Martin were special guests at a tribute for The Poseidon Adventure.

Speaking of which, that mini-series that aired recently was God-awful!!! Here’s hoping the big screen Poseidon is better. But curses on both their houses since neither approached Carol, Stella, and Pamela Sue to appear in cameo roles!!!

HELP!!!
I’ve finally settled on 45 actresses to be included in my new book and below are a list of gals that I cannot find any contact information for despite my exhaustive search. MIA are

Pamela Austin, Bettina Brenna, Eve Bruce, Arlene Charles, Suzanne Charny, Corinne Cole, Jo Collins, Dee Duffy, Anitra Ford (above), Marianne Gaba, Mary Grover, Ena Hartman, Susan Holloway, Teri Hope, Alena Johnston, China Lee, Jacki Ray (a.k.a. former Mrs. Tom Selleck), Pamela Rodgers, Corinna Tsopei, Jan Watson, and Delores Wells.

If any one has any leads or contact information for these starlets at-large and can share, please let me know.

I am finally back to blogging. Been working on my new book and believe it or not have dug up about another 35 ’60s actresses to profile. The book is tentatively entitled Glamour Girls of ’60s Hollywood: Playmates, Models, Show Girls and Beauty Queens. I’ve been interviewing some of the sexiest babes to grace the silver screen during the decade and will post some updates.

First the lovely Inga Nielsen who you show queens may recall from her towering roles (she stood 6’3″ in heels) as Gymnasia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and as the Winter Bride in Funny Girl (above). Surprisingly, Inga had only nice things to say about La Streisand and Babs liked her so much that she requested her to play minor roles in Hello Dolly and Funny Lady.

Inga is still going strong today and has recently cut her first CD of cabaret type songs. Inga’s Love Me with All your Heart would make a great holiday gift for that show queen in your life. Everybody has at least one in their circle so buy the album and support a starlet! See ya!
