WICKED, WICKED

In 1973, MGM released a strange little film called Wicked, Wicked about a psychopath stalking the female guests at a hotel. It was a precursor to the Halloween and Friday the 13th movies that were to come but it was filmed in a split screen process called Duo-Vision. One side tracked the killer and the other his victims or Detective David Bailey trying to catch him. The movie also starred Fantasy Femme Diane McBain, Tiffany Bolling, and Edd Byrnes. It was directed by the guy who directed numerous Green Acres episodes. Check out the trailer on YouTube. It looks just awful!

To Film Fatales’ Alexandra Bastedo! A British lass, she co-starred in the mod James Bond spy spoof Casino Royale on the big screen before starring in the cult ITC television series The Champions, pictured at right. (That’s General Hospital’s Stuart Damon in the center.) Check out a cool trailer for the series on YouTube.
