The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in New York is having a rare screening of The Velvet Vampire (1971) Tues. Oct. 28 at 6:15pm and 9:30pm. Celeste Yarnall is the title character a bloodsucker who likes to feed on hippies including Michael Blodgett and Sherry Miles.
