To sweet-as-pie Mary Ann Mobley. Most fans know that Mobley was a former Miss America but don’t know that she was the first Girl from U.N.C.L.E.(in the episode “The Moonglow Affair” on The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and Batgirl on Batman but due to interferring network executives lost out on both roles in the TV series (to respectively, Stefanie Powers and Yvonne Craig). As a consolation prize, she did get to be wooed on screen by Elvis Presley in Girl Happy and Harum Scarum. Check out this great tribute to her on You Tube.
