I just learned that Fantasy Femme Francine York had heart surgery and is still in the hospital. Here is hoping she makes a fast full recovery and returns to her vivacious self as evidenced by the recent clip below:

THE MEN FROM U.N.C.L.E. REUNITED
The Player’s Club in New York City hosted a black tie, $165 a plate tribute to film and TV star Robert Vaughn this past Sunday night. I seriously considered going however my partner’s total lack of interest and the hefty price prevented me. Too bad because the surprise guest was Vaughn’s U.N.C.L.E. co-star, David McCallum. As a huge Carol Lynley fan I couldn’t resist posting this wonderful tribute to her. Calling her a “movie legend” is a stretch even for me, but there is no denying Carol was incredibly beautiful. My only beef is that there is only one photo from the 1969-1970 period where Carol had the very short Vidal Sassoon hair style she sported in such movies as Once You Kiss a Stranger and Norwood so I posted a pic myself.
