Today’s 1969 actress of the day is Carol Lynley from the mystery spoof The Maltese Bippy starring Dan Rowan and Dick Martin. It was supposed to be a big hit, it wasn’t. What’s a bippy? More in my upcoming BearManor Media book Carol Lynley: Lady in Peril Her Film & TV Career in Thrillers, Fantasy & Suspense due March 2020.

Lynley was in a number of non-thrillers as well. Might there be a subsequent book about her comedy and romance films?
I always forget that she worked for Hammer Films in their JOURNEY TO THE UNKNOWN series that ran for one summer. I have “collector copies” of those episodes, but would love to see somebody release the series legitimately on home video.
All are addressed but without as much detail except Norwood which has an interesting back story. Her role was much bigger and lots cut.
