Speaking of Film Fatales, below is link to interview I gave to AM/FM Magazine about the sixties spy girls that were profiled in our book.

Nice to know that your book is getting some well deserved attention. I’d like to think that it is prompting a number of people to discover her films too.
Tom, considering that the annual TCM Film Festival is underway this weekend in LA, have you had any discussions with TCM about including a tribute to sixties starlets / contract players? Maybe they don’t consider this topic prestigious enough, but why not screen a few of the better films from the period with actresses like Carol Lynley, Diane McBain, Yvette Mimieux, etc. and then interview t
hem for broadcast later on the network? Their experiences as the last of the big studio contract players would be a real draw IMO.
Thanks,
Michael
Great idea, Michae but really have no more contact with them other than sending copies of my new books to them. The last suggestion I gave was for the TCM cruise showing some beach movies and having guests like Frankie Avalon and Bobbi Shaw. They told me they really liked the idea but never came to be…so far.
