A VALENTINE FOR CHRISTMAS

I have been watching the first season of Room 222, one of my favorite TV shows as a kid, recently on DVD. Of course, I just loved Karen Valentine in it and remember watching her in the TV-movies Gidget Grows Up and Coffee, Tea, or Me? and many episodes of Love, American Style. Click here for a recent update on her from a Room 222 reunion. She and co-star Judy Strangis (who played shy Helen) look mah-velous. (Article also includes an update on one of my fave 80s actors, Michael Pare.)

Room 222 also had one of the best instrumental themes of any show until this day:

I’m just leaving, so I’ll have to check out the video later. But I have always liked Karen Valentine, as well as Judy Strangis and her beautiful sister Cindy Malone (who looked alot like Judy, except blonde). I have always wanted to see the episode of LOVE, AMERICAN STYLE in which Judy and Cindy played sisters. Sadly, Paramount Home Video only released the first season on DVD.

I have read online that Judy left show business because of a stalker (although she has done a lot of voice-over work in later years). By the way, I’m NOT the stalker, just a fan of the sisters Strangis.
